Ms. Whitman has served as Chairman of the Board since July 2014, as President and Chief Executive Officer since September 2011 and as a member of the Board since January 2011. From March 2011 to September 2011, Ms. Whitman served as a part-time strategic advisor to Kleiner, Perkins, Caulfield & Byers, a private equity firm. Previously, Ms. Whitman served as President and Chief Executive Officer of eBay Inc., from 1998 to March 2008. Prior to joining eBay, Ms. Whitman held executive-level positions at Hasbro Inc., a toy company, FTD, Inc., a floral products company, The Stride Rite Corporation, a footwear company, The Walt Disney Company, an entertainment company, and Bain & Company, a consulting company. Ms. Whitman also serves as a director of The Procter & Gamble Company.

John Hinshaw is the Chief Customer Officer and Executive Vice President of Technology & Operations at Hewlett Packard. He joined the company in 2011 and leads our strategic accounts, strategic alliances, customer advocacy, information technology, sales operations, and global business shared services. John is a member of the company’s Executive Council and serves on the Ethics and Compliance Committee.

In addition, John leads relationships with many of HP’s largest customers. He also serves as the executive sponsor for HP’s business in the United Kingdom, Ireland and India.

Prior to Hewlett Packard, John spent 4 ½ years at The Boeing Company, most recently leading the Information Solutions business unit. He was also Boeing’s Chief Information Officer and led their companywide corporate initiative on Information Management and Information Security. While at Boeing, in 2009, John was named CIO of the Year by the Executives’ Club of Chicago and the Association of Information Technology Professionals.

Before Boeing, John spent 14 years at Verizon where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Verizon Wireless. He also held a number of key positions focused on enabling business growth, reducing costs and improving business productivity. Earlier in his career, John also served as a consultant with Accenture.

John is a member of the board of directors of the Bank of New York Mellon, DocuSign, the National Academy Foundation, and Clique Intelligence. He has also served on numerous technology company advisory boards and non-profit boards. John and his wife Julia have established a foundation with a focus on education, cancer research and other charitable needs.

John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in computer information systems from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. He and his family reside in Woodside, California.
