In the June edition of Global Citizenship Bulletin we reported on the European Commission’s Climate Change campaign, which shows how making small changes to our daily lives can help prevent greenhouse gas emissions and save money. HP has taken this a step further and launched a new webpage called Energy Tips, providing a comprehensive guide on how to save energy in the workplace and at home. The tips cover smart purchasing decisions, conserving resources and completing the conservation cycle.
Although the webpage is new, HP has been providing both customers and employees with tips on energy conservation for some time. As the need to save energy and help preserve the environment has increased, so have our efforts to help our customers. Consequently, our Energy Tips webpage is updated as often as new developments arise.
Passing on expertise
As a global corporation, we focus on providing energy efficient products and on ensuring that the energy conservation cycle is complete.
We provide customers with details of our expertise and advice and we share best practice at every opportunity. When we think of what we, as individuals, are up against globally, it’s reassuring to know that help is at hand in meeting our responsibilities.
In this edition of Global Citizenship Bulletin, we also report on developments in higher education, diversity in the workplace and, from Russia, the latest on providing education in hospitals. For HP, all of these elements carry equal importance and we hope you enjoy reading about them.
