In this edition we have news of the winners of our annual Global Business Challenge, held in partnership with the biggest student network organisation on entrepreneurship education in Europe Junior Achievement Young Enterprise. Without giving away the name of the winning country too soon, it is encouraging to see that the winners are from an increasing number of countries making a strong entrepreneurial presence in EMEA.
We also have a report on the launch of a new e-waste recycling project in Africa. Together with our partners DSF and Empa we will focus on developing workable and safe solutions for electronic recycling in Africa and this project will bring both environmental and social benefits.
Continuing with the subject of recycling, we provide details of our refurbishing and recycling services for customers by our Financial Services division, including safe disposal of data records, leasing and asset recovery service.
Finally, our interview this month is with Dennis Pamlin, Global Policy Advisor, WWF who discusses HP’s partnership with World Wildlife Fund. In the interview Dennis talks about the progress WWF and HP have made in EMEA and the benefits of this partnership he sees for both organisations.
