HP supports Cambridge University Eco Racing team solar car
HP has provided key technology to allow the Cambridge University Eco Racing (CUER) team to maximise the performance of their solar racing car “Affinity”. Thanks to HP technology, the team can conduct complex modelling to tweak the aerodynamic design of the car and measure and calculate optimum performance of the car while on the road, taking into account factors such as the condition of the road, wind and available sunshine to power the car along. |

Training trainers to increase reach of GET-IT programme
From 26th to 30th of May, HP invited 15 trainers from 14 local partner organisations in Europe, Middle East and Africa to its offices in Zurich to attend the second European Guidance Course for the “Graduate Entrepreneurship Training through IT” (GET-IT).
The GET-IT programme was launched by HP in May last year. It targets under or unemployed school leavers or university graduates aged 16-25 and offers an innovative curriculum (T-Tools) that bridges the divide between business skills courses and technical skills courses.
We spoke to Maxim Balanev, Master trainer at the Micro-Enterprise Acceleration Institute, who delivered the five-day Guidance course.
