HP sponsors new ‘Green IT’ guide for dummies

Over recent months, the main topic of conversation has been the economy. But it’s always important to remember that worldwide concerns over climate change still require our attention.

GET-IT programmes in Africa make their mark

Towards the end of last year, HP provided, amongst many others, three non-governmental organisations (NGO’s) in Africa with the technical and financial assistance required to deliver our Graduate Entrepreneurship Training through ITNon-HP site (GET-IT) programme.

The GET-IT programme gives school leavers and undergraduates aged 16-25 an opportunity to learn business basics through IT. Given that many parts of Africa are unable to provide effective education to advance students into the world of business, the GET-IT programme has really made its mark.
