HP Leading in the Search for Solutions to the Current Recycling Problem in Africa

Together with the Global Digital Solidarity Fund (DSF) and the Swiss Institute for Materials Science and Technology (Empa), HP has brought life to a project that aims to solve the increasingly urgent problem resulting from the growing amount of electrical and electronic waste in Africa. The goal of these joint efforts is to reduce both the potential negative health effects and the danger to the environment that result from the inappropriate disposal of electrical and electronic waste. Additionally, they should lead to the creation of jobs in disadvantaged communities.
