Climate change projects

HP will allocate more than $2 million (US) in cash and equipment to the World Wildlife Fund to establish three projects aimed at addressing the causes and consequences of climate change on a global basis:

The Epicenter for Climate Conservation serves as a research and collaboration center driven by HP technology, supporting WWF’s programs, and focused on advancing climate change science worldwide. The EpiCenter will support local field projects in five locations, including the Sunderbans of India.

Climate Witness is an innovative online forum to raise awareness of the consequences of climate change. Climate Witness will gather and share the stories – in words, photos and videos – of individuals and communities impacted by climate change. Climate Witness projects will be established in the United States, Brazil, China and India.
