| The Technology for Teaching Higher Education grant initiative aims to transform teaching and learning through the use of mobile technology. It has been awarded on a yearly basis to a number of selected universities across Europe, Middle East and Africa until 2008.
Applications are by invitation only. HP invites selected universities across EMEA to submit a proposal to HP that describes the fundamental teaching and learning issues that are being addressed by the project and how the granted HP technology would contribute to resolving those issues.

NEPAD e-schools |

| The NEPAD e-Schools initiative aims to provide an end-to-end education solution that will utilize ICT to connect schools to the NEPAD e-Schools network and the Internet. In addition to connectivity, solutions will provide education content and learning material, as well as establish health points at schools in support of the NEPAD e-Health programme.

A number of private companies, including HP, have committed to leading and sponsoring demonstration projects in 16 participating countries including Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Egypt, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mali, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa and Uganda. |
