Working with partners

HP collaborates with non-profit organizations, government leaders and industry partners for our education efforts. Together we assess how our solutions match the needs of a community, to ensure our involvement has an impact and creates a sustainable, long-term effect.
HP co-operates with a number of organizations such as UNESCO, Junior Achievement-Young Enterprise and New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) in education projects.

Schools and educational institutions

HP’s local grant programs for schools and other educational institutions aim to make teaching and learning more exciting and to increase student achievement through the use of technology. With the help of HP, subjects like mathematics, science and engineering are made more accessible to a wider range of students, offering them the opportunity to learn about these subjects and encouraging them to pursue careers in these fields.

In 2007, HP donated 100 mobile classrooms to selected schools throughout the EMEA region.
